ArticleMS Features

This is a basic list of features available in ArticleMS.
We cannot list all the features here, but the list should give you a good idea of what the system can do.

General

• Easy to install. Just upload the files, and let the web based installer guide you.
• 100% Search Engine Friendly. The system uses mod_rewrite for url's, and was designed from the start to be SEO friendly.
• Web based for access anywhere anytime. Just log in and go.
• Comes with WYSIWYG Editor that works on most modern browsers.
• Unique and powerful template system. Modify any part of the site to suite your needs.

Articles

• Set article to either be active or require validation.
• Allow Rating of articles.
• Allow Comments
• Set comments to either be active or require validation.
• Edit any article, including the url
• Validate articles before seen by public
• Add Articles without knowing any HTML using the WYSIWYG Editor

User Administration

• Comes ready with 6 user groups
  • Guest - for everybody that is not logged in.
  • Author - must have article approved
  • Trusted Author - add articles without approval
  • Moderator - extended access
  • Admin - full access
  • Banned - specially reserved for spammers.
• Assign permission based on groups, or specific users.
