Pascoe Sawyers is author of MePLC: Your Life Is Your Business, a widely acclaimed self-improvement book which highlights the value and benefits to an individual of developing their personal leadership skills (www.meplc.co.uk).

He has over 20 years experience of providing leading edge services in the public, voluntary and private sectors. He is currently Director of the IDeA’s (Improvement and Development Agency) Leadership Academy, where he is responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of a range of leadership development training programmes for councillors and local government managers in England and Wales.

Pascoe is well known in local government circles and widely recognised as one of the sector’s most competent trainers and motivational speakers on subjects ranging from media relations strategy to the art of political leadership.

He is an accomplished writer and journalist and has worked as a freelance journalist for various publications including The Guardian, Observer, London Evening Standard and The Big Issue.

He lives in London with his wife and three children.
