Even though dirt bikes have been a popular hobby for years, they are usually seen as bulky, noisy and dangerous. If you shrunk one of these a couple of sizes you would get a pit bike, and in recent times they have gained in popularity with both children and adults.

As lots and lots of riders are spending their time and money into the sport, the popularity of the hobby has risen quickly. When riding a pit bike you need to makes sure that you and your child wear the proper protective gear including a helmet and riding suit. Once you have taken these safety measures a pit bike is much safer than a full size motorcycle thanks to lower speed and height. These features makes pit bikes a perfect match for kids to learn how to ride.

The above advantages is just a part of what makes this a great hobby. For the small discomfort of riding a child-sized bike as an adult you get all the thrills, excitement and fun of racing real size bikes much safer. Add the fun you can have when tweaking the bike in the workshop and you have a sport thats great on and off the track.

For a time time pit crews have been searching for ways to get around the racing pits in a quick and easy way. Naturally, these pit crews had a lot of mechanical expertise, and it was only natural for them to invent a bike that was condensed enough to zip along in and out of the obstructions that present themselves in a your average racing pit. This evolved to getting the racers themselves involved, and before you know it, we have pro racers racing around on these minibikes, competing to see who has got the quickest and coolest ride. Thanks to these inventive pit crews we now have a great little bike we can use and enjoy tgother with our friend and families.
