The full form of O.E.M. is Original Equipment Manufactured. This means that OEM Spoilers from Ford are manufactured by Ford itself. It means OEM Chevrolet parts are manufactured by Chevrolet and OEM BMW parts are supplied by BMW. At times, the terms O.E.S. and OE are used. OES mean Original Equipment Supplied and OE means Original Equipment. In most cases, both portray the same meaning. Original Equipment is more generalized and points to any part of the equipment. You get muscle car spoiler, which is a car spoiler that is attached on a muscle car or in other words high-performance cars.

Muscle car spoilers make your vehicle stand out among other cars. Certain cars only have rear spoilers. However, the front spoilers not only enhance the look of the car but also add special functions. The spoilers come in numerous shapes and sizes. Initially they were made of plastic. However, the material did not survive the long exposure to UV rays. So, nowadays the spoilers are made of polyurethane which is much more durable and sturdy material. Some spoilers are also made from fiberglass or lightweight steel. A car with OEM Spoilers results in less resistance and as a result, this increases the top speed

Car spoilers/Wings are one of the most important yet much neglected parts of your car. Some people believe that spoilers are used only by sports cars. This belief has evolved because usually very powerful sports cars use spoilers to maintain a proper balance while traveling at a high speed. Nevertheless, the fact remains that spoilers are not used just by sports cars. Car fanatics usually fit Spoilers – OEM Spoilers on their vehicle in order to sport a sporty look. A car spoiler is an aerodynamic device that can be attached to the car. Spoilers help to ‘spoil' the movement of air literally, along the body of a car that is moving. The spoilers ensure that the car has proper stability by lessening the lift and drag that occurs when the car accelerates at very high speeds. The spoiler is meant to interrupt the flow of air moving over the body of the car. This reduces the amount of lift produced naturally by the outline of the car. As a result, the force that pushes the car tires to the surface of the road is more. This in turn increases the traction and the increased traction helps the vehicle to brake and accelerate more effectively with enhanced control and stability.

Various kinds of OEM Spoilers are categorized based on their use and the place where they are situated in the car. A very common variety of spoiler is the wing. Generally, wing spoilers are seen at the rear side of the car. The basic purpose of any wing spoiler is to create a force downwards that would provide a car with enhanced stability when it moves and turns at very high speeds. Another kind of spoiler is known as the front spoiler. It is also called an air dam. You will find the front spoilers located under the front bumper. Other than the above two kinds, you will also get cab spoilers, tailgate spoilers and truck cap spoilers. Car spoilers have become a well-known and well-liked item of purchase. They go a long way in enhancing the appearance of the car and giving it an exclusive stylish look. There are many good quality spoilers available in the market today such as Ford spoilers, Honda spoilers and Toyota spoilers.
