Montero 2009 rocks the Indian Roads

Hindustan Motors is the first Indian car company to begin production India in 1942. The company gained success by rolling out cars like Ambassador, the Contessa. Montero was launched in Indian car market four years and till date it had sold 600 units. The 2009 Montero arrived in India as a completely built unit just like the older version but with a different price tag of Rs.41.94 Lakh.

The all new Montero is powered by a 3.2-litre diesel engine that churns out162 bhp. It also offers an option of automatic and manual transmission. It clocks 150 kmph in just 31 seconds and the maximum that the speedometer can hit is 170 kmph.

The handling is smooth and easy and the company offers the present-day and fully featured version of the international model Mitsubishi Montero which is one of the most appreciated and preferred vehicles in its class.
