Environment-friendly airport shuttle in TellurideSubmitted by andrewbeene Tue, 19 Apr 2011
Colorado's famous mountainous area makes it a wondrous place to visit and once there, one cannot deny a limo service in Montrose becomes a necessity.
Working for a company that provides transportation service in Telluride, Colorado and elsewhere in this state makes one beam with pride. For one, innumerable Hollywood movies have been shot in Colorado as it boasts breathtaking mountain sceneries. Who can forget the rocky mountain backdrop of Sylvester Stallone's 1993 flick, Cliffhanger? Secondly, seeing tourists in awe as you tell them interesting tales of yesterday's Colorado while taking them on a limo trip in Grand Junction makes you proud of yourself. You can think of a bunch of reasons that make an airport shuttle in Telluride, Montrose, Box Canyon, Cortez, and Denver beneficial to tourists and Colorado's natives but of all the reasons currently out there, perhaps, the fact that providers of limo and cab service have great concern for the health of human beings and Mother Earth is what puts so much essence in this line of work. Truth of the matter, one company providing cab service in Montrose is contemplating of using hybrid fuel on its fleet. According to the management, as soon as biofuel technologies become available to luxury SUVs, which mostly make up the company's fleet, it will forever turn its back to gasoline which does not only make the air dirty but contributes to all sorts of lung diseases. Ethanol is one type of renewable fuel which is sourced form feedstock. It is widely promoted nowadays to motorists for it does not emit smog. According to researchers at the University of California at Berkeley, ethanol production from corn rather than gasoline could lead to 13 percent reduction in greenhouse emissions. This goes to show that continuous support for biofuel technologies can lead to cleaner air. Critics of ethanol, however, blurt this will only lead to another financial crunch as ethanol cost a whole lot more than gasoline. Another downside to it, they say, is that it's not a high-performance fuel thus motorists will eventually find themselves incapable of long-distance driving. Like all things in life, ethanol definitely has its pros and cons. Let's just hope that careful study of this product will eventually make it see the light.
