From The Mud To The Asphalt Mid-Sized SUVs Can Get It Done For You.

Back in the late 80´s, three very popular vehicles were the Ford Bronco II, the Chevrolet Blazer, and the Toyota 4Runner. The three of these vehicles, while being very similar in style, are each a bit different, offering different features.

The Ford Bronco II, while only selling for 6 short years, was a smaller version of the Ford Bronco, which was a full sized Truck. The Bronco II only sold for such a short amount of time because it was said to roll over very easily. When it was later proven that all vehicles of it´s type had the same tendency, the report was closed against the Ford Bronco II. By the time the report was dropped, the Bronco II already had a bad reputation so it no longer sold, even though they tried to change it by making a 2nd generation option.

The Toyota 4Runner still sells today. It is made in Japan and although it has undergone a lot of changes since it first came out in the mid 80´s, it is still recognized as a great SUV. One great feature that consumers love about the Toyota 4Runner is that it is very easy to fix, but almost never breaks. The Vehicle started out being 4-wheel drive and was originally designed to be used for off-road excursions. Many people today have taken the original base of the Toyota 4Runner that was originally designed in the 80's and add other parts to the vehicle to make it possible to do the extreme off the road. Another common use for this used vehicle is using it as the body of a monster truck.

The Chevrolet Blazer was another option for compact SUVs in the late 80's. This vehicle was more focused on it's passengers rather than being a truck used for storage. This vehicle was very popular with families in the late 80's, and being one of the first of it's kinds it sold a lot. Chevrolet has always been known for it's safety, being the first of it's kind to pioneer new technology, and being very family-friendly. Another focus of Chevrolet is storage and capability. Most Chevrolets can haul a lot more weight than it's other competitors making it an ideal vehicle for working. The Blazer is no exception, although it was made along time ago. Chevrolet no longer makes the Blazer but it now offers multiple Compact SUVs.

A look at 3 former top selling SUVs.
