A question that has been bothering a lot of racing buffs for a log time has been what does it take in a vehicle to give it a cutting edge over other vehicles that are running the same race. In this article we will take you through all that can potentially increase the performance of your car on the racing track thereby increasing your chances and potential of reaching the finishing line victorious. One important step that needs to be take care before you make any changes to the engine and parts of the vehicle should be its comfort feature inside the cabin. A racer has to be comfortable inside the reaching vehicle cabin to be able to reach that finishing line in style and pose. You have the option to installing addition safety belts in the form of 4 point of 5 point seat belts that will assure the driver is saved of the shocks our of the rough drive. There are special racing seats that offer better confront in racing arenas. Moving to the more specifics of winning a race, the engine is the most crucial part of the vehicle and should be tuned perfectly to give out its best output. This can be done by some commonly used performance improvementtechniques that are common knowledge even to everyday car users. These are simple techniques like increasing air intake density, increasing engine displacement and improving the volumetric efficiency of the engine. Once these internal factors have been taken care of, the engine needs to be provided with external power support. One of the oldest known methods to do this is the nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide gives extra power to the vehicle based on a chemical reaction between the nitrogen and oxygen atoms. The biggest advantage of installing the nitrogen oxide booster in your racing vehicle is that it is relative cheap to all other forms of performance boosters and thus has easy availability and mass adaption. There are three kinds of NOS systems you can choose from to power your means machine. These can be the dry system, the wet system or the direct port system. More information about the same can be found from dealers dealing in NOS installations.
Apart from NOS, you can also have turbochargers installed in the machine, which are also one of the oldest power boosters to be installed on motor vehicles. A turbocharger involves the installation of a compressor and a turbine wheel in the vehicle, which will pump in the exhaust gasses of the car engine at high density into the compressor thereby producing more power. There are OEM turbochargers available in the market by renowned car manufacturing companies, which can be purchased and installed. There is also the option of installing superchargers in the vehicles, which are known, for the huge power outputs they provide. These are also known as blowers. Any additional installation with add to pressure on the vehicle leading to shocks which can be taken care of with the use of specialized spring like the intergra shocks, dropzone shocks, mustang shocks etc.
