Knight Rider - Back For MoreSubmitted by dermotcondell Tue, 15 Sep 2009
Anybody who has watched the first series with the "Hoff" will remember Kit, the Knight Rider car. It was a Trans am Firebird, and was truly a beautiful thing. Possibly its most distinctive feature - apart from the doctrinaire and grouchy lecturing personal computer - was the row of red lights spanning the grill. They would all flicker in sequence and make various sounds while the camera did a close-up of it.
I imagine this new Knight Rider series requires a new Kit, which they undoubtedly haven't hesitated to change matters up a little. Although they still use a dark, US-made muscle car, everything else is different. The new Kit is actually a Mustang - yet a absolutely revved up one at that. Going by what I've heard about it, the new car is a Shelby GT 500. compared to the old car, it looks bigger and stronger. When you saw that old car, you somewhat could see how it would be able to leap into the air. This new one, nonetheless, seems way too strony and more hard. It will be easier for people to believe it when the Mustang repels ammunition as if they were nothing. The one thing I don't like about the new Kit is the sad reality that it no longer has the luminous row of red lights on it. Nevertheless, it does include a variety of nifty sophisticated eye candy that wasn't there on the original one. There is a TV screen in the car that will show cool graphics while KIT the car talks. I'm sure the special effects will be better as well, and the weapons may be somewhat more sophisticated. There are lots of changes in the Knight Rider car, yet, I'm sure possibly the most inflexible purists will be able to be pleased about the Mustang. I for one am already slobbering at the expectation of looking at it chase bad guys. Evidently, the first Kit has actually gone under the hammer. Not surprisingly. With all the publicity that the new series is getting as a result of its revival, the owner of the original is in all probability figuring that he can get a a nice little sum out of the sale. And it surely will cost a pretty penny. I've heard that the price of the Kit was close to 200,000 dollars - Not exactly small change. I'm sort of envious of whomever gets their hands on it. I am a big fan of the first series myself.
However, I recently got in to Sport Utility Vehicles, and stumbled upon a great resource for cheap SUV tires. Should you be in the market for SUV tyres at affordable prices, checkout http://CheapSUVTiresOnline.blogspot.com for a great deal .
