With gas prices still soaring and now over $4.00 per gallon for the national average, it is getting harder and harder to cope with the higher fuel cost. Many people are trading in their less economic cars and trucks for smaller, more fuel efficent cars. GM is in financial trouble because truck and SUV sales are falling sharply. Gas prices are sqeezing food cost higher, and the overall cost of living is increasing faster than wages can keep up. Is there any relief from paying so much at the pump? We think so since we have found the Kiwi Gas Saving System.

There are really only three ways to decrease your cost of fuel. 1) Get a more fuel efficient car, 2) Modify your existing car to get better gas mileage, or 3) Change your driving habits.

Option 1 can get a little pricy. The new hybrids are getting 35-45 mpg these days, but you can expect to pay upwards of $30,000 for them. You can also look into an economical four cylinder which will be cheaper than a hybrid and get close to the same results. Option 2 is less expensive and can get good results, but there are limited things you can do, such as a cold air intake or a hydrogen boost system. The best and most economical option is to change your driving habits.

The Kiwi system can help you understand how to drive your car to get optimum fuel economy. It is a simple to use plug and play device compatible with all 1996 vehicles and up. Kiwi plugs into your existing on board diagnostic port (OBDII), located near your steering column. From this port, Kiwi is able to obtain detailed sensor information about your vehicle. A multitude of sensor data including vehicle speed, RPM, engine load, oxygen sensor readings are all analyzed to determine your vehicle’s optimum driving efficiency.

Kiwi operates much like a game. As you drive, your daily goal is to obtain the highest “Kiwi Score” possible. In doing so, your driving style will be optimized for the highest MPG no matter what vehicle you drive. You can see anywhere from 30 to 50 percent increase in fuel economy just by changing the way you drive. With the Kiwi in place, you can see real time statistics about your fuel economy, how much you are spending on fuel, and how much you are saving by following its recommendations.

The Kiwi is an awesome system to keep fuel efficiency at the highest levels for both cars and trucks. Even if you already have a fuel efficient vehicle, the Kiwi can still push the fuel economy to the max and get you another 20 to 40 percent increase in your miles per gallon. With gas prices this high, every little drop saved is money back in your pocket.
