Mazda Invades the Country with its Zoom-Zoom Event

With the success of the previously held Zoom-Zoom Live Tour, Mazda North American Operations is again taking its valued enthusiasts to an enjoyable tour across the country. Said live tour is scheduled to happen at the California Speedway in Fontana, California. On October 28, Saturday, the tour will be from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. On the 29th, fun drive will be from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The 2nd annual Zoom-Zoom Live is designed for the residents of Los Angeles to enjoy and savor. Said individuals will be experiencing the Mazda's mantra, which is – 'Always the soul of a sports car'.

Said event will be participated by about 50,000 car lovers within Los Angeles territory. The tour will make use of Mazda vehicles to invade different cities in the country. Zoom-Zoom Live Tour is one of the most exciting driving event around the globe. In said events participants are given the chance to experience a different drive feel that will certainly boost their adrenaline levels.

Over 5,000 participants are expected to attend the driving event. The tour will be featuring 10 cities, which covers 1 million square footage of track. Aside from that, it will also be using more than 3,000 orange cones, go through 3,000 lbs of chalk and devour 1,100 tires.

Zoom-Zoom Live Tour will feature 4 dynamic drive courses where the participants can showcase their driving prowess using Mazda vehicles. Some of the vehicles that will be featured in said tour are CX-7, MX-5 Miata and all-new Mazdaspeed 6.

Mazda CX-7 is a midsize crossover SUV that was introduced at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show. It replaced Mazda Tribute. MX-5, on the other hand, is a sports car made powerful by tested Mazda Miata parts. It was designed as a small roadster with reduced driving complexity. Mazdaspeed 6 is a high-performance version of Mazda 6. It is powered by a turbocharged version of the 2.3 L MZR I4. The latter is capable of generating 272 PS.

CX-7 crossover SUV will be used in the 'Target Hunt' Course, where a predetermined time range is set for participants to hit the targets and win prizes. Mazdaspeed 6 will be used in the 'Challenge Course'. Mazda Miata and RX-8 are designed for the 'Sports Course'. Finally, the participants can try their best on the ' Matched Time Gymkhana' Course. Prizes, foods and fun are expected to overwhelm the event.
