MINI: Necessarily in Caps

Submitted by shane

To distinguish the new MINI from the classic Mini, one would have to look at how it is written. In bold letters would be the new MINI, meanwhile the classic Mini would just have to take it the normal way. This MINI is a subsidiary of BMW and is also produced by that same subsidiary since 2001. In truth, this vehicle has been very much criticized over its poor space efficiency which as compared to the original Mini that held a quite larger size. However, this new MINI still has become quite very much faithful to the razor sharp handling characteristics that the original Minis held, as well as the unique styling style that the previous ones also sported.

Even if the MINI has had little advertising done, BMW still has been receiving tons of orders for this vehicle. And because of the large number of orders coming in, BMW has been suffering from a significant backlog of these. This new vehicle, MINI, has quite reached cult status the world over. Many people who own MINIs were constantly approached by strangers who were very much intrigued as to what that vehicle was, or also to recall the classic Minis. Even so, the new MINI has a following that could prove to be quite just as strong as its predecessors. And to top it all up, even despite all the criticisms that this vehicle has received, the MINI Cooper and the MINI Cooper S has been acclaimed as the North American Car of the Year award for the year 2003.

Rumors have it that a new version of the MINI would be out and be introduced in 2007. It will be completely restyled. This would also be crafted on a reengineered platform that contains many stylistic and engineering changes done in. This kind of styling would be shared by the MINI with the PSA Peugeot Citroen. This current MINI though sports circular headlamps, huge wheel flares, and a rounded appearance overall. It was first shown during the 2000 Paris Auto Show.

There has been quite a listing of movies that has had MINIs and Minis featured. The list includes Hitch (shows a dark silver MINI), Match Point (MINI One), Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (Silver MINI Cooper), Wicker Park (silver MINI Cooper), Spanglish (Liquid Yellow/White MINI Cooper), The Italian Job (pepper white, Indy Blue, Chili red and white MINI Cooper), and Austin Powers (MINI Cooper with a union jack body wrap). Movies for Mini vehicles include Lords of Dogtown (a red Mini), If Only (another red Mini), Hotel Rwanda, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (A Mini Cooper), The Bourne Identity (red Mini), Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch (MkI Mini), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Bridget Jones’ Diary (Mk II Mini), and The Avengers (another Mk II Mini).

Mini owners, enthusiasts and followers could access Mini Accessories. Each and every customer is treated to quality workmanship, great discounts and top of the line customer service.
