If you're in the market for a new or used full size van, now is the time to buy. With Detroit automakers giving huge incentives Chevy is offering zero percent interest for up to 60 months and close base invoice prices. Ford is offering similar deals with zero percent down and zero percent interest for forty eight months. If you are in the market for a used full size van then be sure to check your local auction for some great deals.

The Ford Econoline Van is a full sized van with plenty of towing power. The Econoline has a 6.8L V ten with triton motor and 7.3L V eight with a turbo power stroke diesel engine. When it was first introduce in 1960 it was introduced as a wagon pickup truck and van, in 1991 it celebrated thirty-one years of successful production of the van. It gets twelve to fifteen miles per gallon city and fifteen to twenty miles per gallon highway.

Chevrolet offers the Express as their full size van it is offered in a standard and extended wheel version. Redesigned in 1996 and renamed the Express it was not until 2003 that it underwent another and the last redesign, however when it was redesigned in 2003 it was packed full of upgrades including all wheel drive. You can pick up a one year old Express for almost half the price of a new one. This makes it an interesting option for the used van buyer. The Express is sold new for between twenty eight thousand dollars and thirty four thousand dollars.

Dodge offers the Sprinter Van as their full size cargo van option. This van is no longer offered with a gasoline engine instead has a 154 hp 3.0 L turbo diesel that can produce two hundred and eighty pounds of torque. The Sprinter has a very wide power sliding door and an all-new mp3 audio system. It costs between thirty-eight and forty-five thousand dollars new and seems to hold its resale value not offering as good of deals for used models. The dodge sprinter gets fifteen to nineteen miles per gallon.

Make sure to have any used full size van inspected by a mechanic before you buy. These vans are mostly used like a truck to haul everything from car tires to construction site materiels the engines are pushed from morning until night across country for deliveries as well.
