13.56MHz High Performance Fixed RFID Reader/Writer

Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) has launched its high frequency fixed RFID reader/writer with a long reading distance of 30cm. It is intended to read ISO 15693 compliant transponders. The compact RFID reader/writer provides easy installation and is suitable to be integrated into applications such as laundry management, document tracking and Point of Sale (POS) systems where multi-tag reading is required. This intelligent device is specially designed for warehouse or manufacture applications.

This HF fixed, model 233003, is finished with a rugged industry standard housing and is resistant to dust and water; it maintains optimum performance even in harsh environments. The portable RFID reader/writer provides an RS232 communication interface for data exchange. It is equipped with three LED status indicators and a 300mA battery. The light-weight reader/writer conforms to the ISO 11784/5 standard and supplies a clock synchronization enabling applications where several readers or antennae are used in close proximity.
