The very last thing you would want to do as a marketer is to have your marketing campaign such as your custom bookmarks and bookmark printing for example, blend in with the others in the market. Indeed, if you want to generate as many leads as you want, you need to stand out in the crowd. This is especially true nowadays where people are generally lambasted with thousands of messages every day, all coming from different directions. It is very easy to become invisible with all the ads out there trying to vie for the attention of your target clients.

It is just not that difficult to be overlooked and sometimes totally ignored by your potential clients. Yet despite this, still many marketers and businesses create their ads to blend with the others. In fact, many marketers have made their ads so generic that they look exactly like the ones made by the other marketers.

There are many ways that marketers and business owners market themselves to their clients and prospects. One strategy is to put an ad in print media such as newspapers, magazines and even the yellow pages. Almost everyone advertise this way. Actually, this is the work of lazy and unplanned campaigns. Since the media print is already there, all the marketer has to do is to put an ad and advertise in a box specified by the publisher. Hence, an ad blends in with the rest. And since there is a specific format that the print media requires, it is indeed very difficult to stand out from the many ads in the same newspaper or magazine.

So how does one business compete and be distinct in order to attract attention from the crowd? By being different and unique from the rest.

First of all, remember to not waste your precious space by putting your name or logo at the center of your ad. Just like in your custom bookmarks for example, don't display your business name and logo at the very top of your collateral. Your target clients just don't care about you. What they care about are the benefits they can get from you. So tell them right away and use strong headlines to grab their attention.

Second, don't give them a list of your features. Just about anyone else does that. Your list of features doesn't actually tell your target readers what you do exactly. Provide them with the benefits of engaging in business with you as opposed to that of your competition. Pointing out the benefits will mean a lot in convincing them of your value.

Third and last, don't hide your call to action especially the details that would make it easy for your target readers to get in touch with you. Provide your ad such as your bookmark printing
for example with a call-to-action that you can easily track. Put a coupon or a discount card within your custom bookmarks that your target readers can exchange when they go to your shop to avail it. This way, you can know whether your ad is quite effective or not.

Be invisible no more. Display your business in your ads in ways that allow you to promote the kind of business you want to your target clients. With the right marketing, you can generate the right amount of interest in your ad.
