Customized Greeting Cards For BusinessSubmitted by charen Tue, 10 Feb 2009
Your marketing collaterals are often the very first things (and sometimes the last) that your target clients will see and read about you. They have to rely on your collaterals for that first impression. That’s why you have to make sure that what they see is a reflection of your brand and identity.
However, consumers are nevertheless turned off by outright and aggressive marketing that they automatically shut off anything that is even closely related to a sales pitch. Unlike other business collaterals however, print greeting cards take the edge out of the selling part of your campaign. Instead of overwhelming the readers, greeting card printing has proven to be effective tools to convince even the indifferent to what you have to offer. And have you ever known anyone to reject print greeting cards outright? To get your greeting card printing noticed, here are suggestions to help you send a strong message that builds trust and confidence among your target clients: So what’s your point? All effective and quality marketing collaterals have one thing in common – they usually have a point of focus. They always have a center to which all the elements point to. This is what you would want your target readers to focus on when they see your collateral. Often, it is the message that is being emphasized. That’s why all your elements should point to that direction. In order for you to emphasize your point, use white space. White space is there to help you provide balance to your elements. It’s also the break in between your words that allows your readers to breathe. What’s your color? In addition to giving life to your otherwise dull collateral, your color helps to emphasize your message as well. Whatever you decide to add to your print greeting cards, the shade and combinations should highlight your main idea – the one thing that you would want to convey to your target clients. And although color can brighten up your ad, it also doesn’t mean that you have to splash your color all over your print greeting card. On the contrary, you have to use your color sparingly. You wouldn’t want to confuse and distract your readers to what you want to say, right? And make sure to apply a shade that is related to your type of business. Canary yellow would really look ridiculous if you’re the manager of a funeral parlor. What’s your type? Don’t overwhelm your readers with too many typefaces. Just one or two fonts will do. And use a text size and format big enough to fit in your greeting card’s limited space. Avoid ALL CAPS in your text if you don’t want to make your target readers feel that you’re shouting at them. The key is to choose a font that would appropriately represent your image and brand. Building a positive impression is easy even with small collaterals as your print greeting cards. So invest in quality greeting card printing so you can achieve your goals this year. For comments and inquiries about the article visit Greeting Card Printing and Print Greeting Cards
