Do's and Don'ts In Business Booklet Printing

Booklet printing is useful for various businesses in various ways. Color booklets can be made as business promotional materials, training manuals, booklet references, product user manuals, performance portfolios etc. etc. There are lots of things you can do with your business booklets that it may "seem" easy to do. But you should know that business booklet printing is not as simple as you think. Before you take advantage of the power of booklets, you should know a few "do's and don'ts" about booklet printing so that it can be really fit for your business purposes.

• Do print in full color - First always realize that booklets for business are best when in full color. You might be tempted to use those cheaper booklet printing methods with black and white inks, but let me tell you that that is just a waste of time and money. Full color printing has always been the best for business booklets since they can communicate messages better and perform their functions faster. So always print in full color in all your business booklets. No exceptions.

• Don't forget to put lots of images - Since you will be printing in full color, don't forget to put as many images as you can in your booklets. It is good to take advantage of full color features for your images. People will engage more with these design elements in full color, especially when you compare them to a block of text. So when doing some business booklet printing with full color, don't forget to make spaces for a lot of good images to illustrate your vital points.

• Do bind your booklets well - Booklet binding is also a big concern for business booklets. This is not just a measure of the toughness of a booklet but also its aesthetic appeal. The binding must be strong enough to hold the booklet pages together strongly even in odd circumstances, while it still should look good enough for use as well. Strings, staples and metal rings might seem strong, but sometimes they just look ugly for a booklet. It is best to stick to "perfect binding" methods for your business booklets. This method is stronger and cleaner in most cases.

• Don't use flimsy material - Besides binding, the paper material itself should be concern. It is best to NOT use flimsy material such as thin standard paper with no special coatings. I recommend using glossy paper that are a few points thicker than the usual paper used, to make the booklet pages extra tough. Thicker paper is more resistant to physical damage making your business booklets last for a far longer time to perform their purpose.

• Do pick a good booklet printer - It is also important to pick a good booklet printer. Either you should buy the best digital printer on the market today if you want to do your own booklets, or you can hire a booklet printing company to do the job for you. As long as you get a high quality printer producing those booklets, you should be well assured that those things will be primed for the business environment.

So those are all the things you need to know about booklet printing. Do what needs to be done, and avoid the things that might cause you some difficulty. Good Luck!
