Every marketing campaign has the same bottom line: make that sale. That's the number one reason why you're in business anyway. Your goal is to make your target clients buy your product and service; and that is where you get your profits.

Selling is part and parcel of having a marketing campaign for your business. Marketing is about having to influence your target clients to buy whatever it is you're offering. And selling is actually not a trait that comes easy for everyone. In fact, influencing people to do what you bid them is often overwhelming for most people. Influence therefore is a skill that you need to acquire and master in order for you to effectively convince other people to what you're offering.

When you have influence, you are capable of changing their way of thinking, their manner and actions, and even their values. With your marketing campaign, whether its brochure printing or greeting card printing, your influence will show with how many of your target readers are actually buying your product or service just from reading your message in your custom greeting cards. If you can convince them that what you're offering is the best in the market, then you surely have influence on your side.

Unfortunately, not many business owners and marketers have mastered this art. Few marketers have the capability to excel in the influence department. In fact, only a handful actually consider and integrate the art of influence in their marketing strategies that many miss big opportunities that influence can provide many businesses. Here are a few tricks to help you have an effective marketing campaign in, say, your greeting card printing:

1-Always have a balance between your results and your relationships. This means that when marketing your business through your marketing collaterals for example, you need to aim not only for the results but also for an opportunity for you to build relationships. You should not only think about how you can get target clients to notice you even to the extent that you become aggressive and insistent. But you need to aim to connect with your clients that they would want to have a bond that will last for a very long time. Making a sale is not always the end-all and be-all of marketing. You need to have a relationship first with your clients and prospects before they can even trust you with their hard earned money.

2-Determine your clients' reasons, not yours. People do things according to their own reasons. They do act according to what they want. And you'd do well to remember that when you're designing your collaterals such as your custom greeting cards or flyers. In order for you to have a successful marketing campaign, you should know what will make your target clients do what you asked them to. Give them a reason to buy your product. Provide value to your offering that they would want to get to know your business more.

3-Consider emotions to influence your target clients. Understand that people act according to how they feel. Emotions play an important role in every person's decision. If you can show how you can give your target audience happiness instead of pain, then you're on your way to having marketing collateral that can easily influence their buying decisions.
