How To Make Calendars That Catch Attention All Year Around

For business print calendars, the usual rule is to always catch people's eyes. This can be done with a few proper design practices for calendar printing. In this tutorial for calendar printing, I will teach you a few of these design practices so that you can catch people's attention all year around. Just follow the tips below and your calendars should be bringing in more readers and hopefully more business opportunities for you.

1.Use larger formats for your images - Size does matter in most cases of printing, and for calendar printing, larger formats actually help in catching people's attentions. Imagine seeing a large and impressive image month after month when passing by a calendar. You will no doubt stop and stare at a large calendar printing for a while right? It is just something in our human nature to stare in awe at large things, and you can use this natural tendency for great effect with your large images in large calendars. People will always look at and notice your calendars even from afar.

2.Get only professionally made photographs - It is also a good practice to get only professionally made photographs for your custom calendars. Professional photographs usually have the right mix of quality and composition that most people find cool and interesting. With the correct lighting and color values, as well as the right juxtaposition of photographic elements people will find it hard not to look at something that really looks quite impressive. So make it a point to hire a professional photographer for your color calendars. It should be well worth the price considering the great effect they have in calendar printing.

3.Choose dynamic images - You should also consider only choosing dynamic images for use in color calendars. By dynamic images, I mean images that give a sense of action or story. While static images are fine for most basic calendars, a calendar that needs to get attention all the time must have dynamic images. Dynamic images tell more of a story to readers, making people stop and look more. Usually these kinds of images have people in them that are positioned for action. Try to pick and choose your images precisely along these lines or tell your photographer or designer to get those dynamic shots. Trust me, your custom calendars should be wildly more effective this way.

4.Make the images more vibrant - Another good trick to use to have more people look at your color calendars is to simply make the images more vibrant. Instead of just using its basic colors, you should try to enhance the color of your images so that they look at bit brighter and eye catching. There are several ways you can do this with an image enhancement application.

The first thing that you can try out is to edit the brightness and contrast values for your calendar printing images. Typically, increasing the contrast and brightness a little, makes for a brighter and more noticeable calendar. Just make sure that you do not go overboard and "burn" the design with too much brightness.

The second thing you can do is to adjust the colors with some color correction filters. Most design applications have a myriad of color controls that will help you adjust the vibrancy or intensity of the colors in your custom calendars. Try to adjust these so that all colors in your calendars are a little bit more intense than usual.

With both these adjustments, your color calendars should be particularly bright, colourful and noticeable. People will be able to notice your calendars always, all year around.

So what are you waiting for? Why don't you try these tricks out in your own color calendars? You should have more people looking at your custom calendars all the time with these techniques.
