Testing and Evaluating Your Poster's Impact

It is important to test and evaluate your designs for poster printing. Even if you are using the best and most expensive poster templates out there, you will still want to judge and test how your color posters are doing in the real world. In this guide, I will teach you several testing and evaluation tasks that you can use for your own poster printing. Don't worry, some of these tasks are pretty easy to do. So let us get started!

•Initial Evaluation (pre-deployment) - One of the first things that you should think of doing t test your color posters is to do an initial evaluation before you deploy them. Using some poster samples from different packages of your order, try to create a focus group research study. Invite a couple of random people to view your posters and see how they react to it. This basically involves observing how people react as they look at your posters. Typically, you should see a positive impact if people stop and stare at the poster, while a negative impact would be people just ignoring it altogether. By observing audience reactions on your poster for a few days, you should see if they are effective enough to get noticed and reach people. If they fail, then it is back to the drawing board with your designs and if they get people to stare, then you are doing something great. It is that easy and simple.

•Customer surveys - Finally, one of the most sure fire and empirical ways to evaluate your posters is by performing customer surveys. If you get the chance to offer your customers a survey, you should always add a question regarding your color posters. More specifically, try to ask them if they have seen your posters and if those are the reasons why they were attracted to buy from you or do business with you. Moreover, you can also ask them about their opinions about your posters and the themes and designs that they would like to see on them.

If you collect a big enough sample and get the same opinions over and over, then you will know what to do so improve the impact of your poster designs. So try to add questions about color posters in your customer surveys. Believe me, it works.
