Amish Handmade Barn Stars generally adorn the main door of the barn. A barn star is actually a decorated piece of painted 5-point star made of wood or metal such as cast iron, wrought iron, tin or steel. However sometimes these barn stars are also made in a circular "wagon wheel" style. Mainly used for their general aesthetic appeal and as a lucky charm.
