A lot of salespeople do not think about setting up an automatic sales funnel. Also a consideration is that many salespeople are not clear on what setting up an automatic sales funnel actually is. Customer relationship management (CRM) software is used to send holiday cards, announcements, and direct mail items to prospects via an automatic sales funnel. There are software programs such as Infusion and others that can perform this action. Finding the right software program for setting up an automatic sales funnel, however, is very important.

These programs not only remember dates that the salesperson inputs, but they also remember why the date is important, so that they can be personalized to each customer. Getting the wrong type of card or remembering an event that should be forgotten is not a good way to please prospects. Putting the right information in when setting up an automatic sales funnel is critical. Sending out spam-style emails for any holiday is poor form, and should always be avoided.

Making sure clients want these emails and direct mail packets is certainly important when setting up an automatic sales funnel. All prospects and customers that have said they do not want mail from the company should be excluded. Both ‘personal holidays’ like birthdays and large holidays are generally included in setting up an automatic sales funnel. When a sales funnel is set up the right way, those that want mail will receive it, and those that do not will not.
