Beyond the Limits of Typical Newsletter Printing

Sometimes it is good to go beyond certain limits just to test yourself. In newsletter printing you can apply this thinking especially when you are using the color newsletters for marketing. By breaking the standards of newsletter printing and using some new techniques, your color newsletters might be able to get more readers and get more people to understand its marketing message. So if you want to know how to do this and go beyond producing the usual newsletters, here are some of the things that you can try to do.

• Beyond default newsletter sizes - You should already know that there are default newsletter sizes. Most newsletter printers will offer you these standard dimensions so that there is little trouble with newsletter printing. However, to make a more original newsletter and go beyond the limits of traditional newsletter printing, you may want to try to go beyond the usual sizes.

If you are using those newsletters for marketing, you may want to produce bigger newsletters, the ones that catch people's eyes quite easily. Or you may want to go for the more widespread approach and print smaller newsletters that are more easier to distribute. There are a lot of benefits in going beyond the limits of newsletter sizes so think about it on your next marketing campaign.

• Beyond the usual printing materials - To make more unique looking designs for newsletters, you can also go beyond using the usual printing materials. There are two dimensions here that you can change. The paper medium itself and the inks.

◦ Paper mediums - For the newsletter paper medium, besides using usual printing paper you can actually opt to print in different materials. For example, you can go for tougher plastic printing to make the newsletters last longer. You can also use special thick and glossy paper to make them look more like a magazine. Finally, you can also try going green with your newsletter paper by using recycled paper as the primary medium. It might not look quite that white but it will help the environment quite well. All these materials can really make a good change for your newsletter.

◦ Inks - In terms of inks, one the things you can change beyond the standard is to use special metallic inks. Metallic inks are special inks with a chemical mixture that makes them gleam in the light like certain types of metals. This gives a subtle special effect that should make the newsletter quite eye catching indeed. It may add some extra cost to your newsletter printing but the effect is sometimes too great to resist.

• Beyond the usual printing structures - Finally, you can go beyond the usual normal pages of newsletter printing. With special instructions from your newsletter printing, you can try adding new things such as holes in the pages so that a design element at the back can be shown with an interesting. You may even want to print unusually shaped newsletters beyond the rectangle standard. How about rounded newsletters or square newsletters? As long as it matches your newsletter theme, it should be quite amazing and original.

So do not be limited by the current options you have in newsletter printing. Try to go beyond them and see how a little creativity impacts on your color newsletters.
