Get Your Arizona Teacher Certification in Less Than One year

If you are living in the Midwest and looking for a career change one career that will never be replaces will be teaching. One of the main reasons why teaching will never be replaced because there is an old saying that goes “everyone needs to be taught something.” This is completely true because no matter where you go in life you have to be taught something whether you are a small child learning the ABC’s, a teenager learning to drive, or even an adult learning a new trade, everyone has something to learn. In other words, we as humans will never know everything there is to know, so there will always be something that we can be taught. One of the most common ways for us to think of teaching is through scholarly teaching, which can be obtained, in the state of Arizona, by taking classes towards your Arizona teacher certification.

With your Arizona teacher certification you will be able to teach both secondary school as well as elementary school. If you are wondering what the difference is between the two elementary school is for younger children usually from kindergarten through 8th grade, while secondary school on the other hand is for older children ages 9th grade through 12th grade. There is a huge difference in teaching styles and what is taught for each age group. If you are looking to teach elementary school there are huge differences in teaching styles that you will learn about while you are going to get your Arizona teacher certification. The things you will learn when you are going to school for elementary education vs. secondary education will be huge in determining what age you will teach. For most people who become teachers there is almost an instant calling to the age group they want to teach whether it is for young children or older children.

If you have taught in another state besides Arizona before trying to teach in Arizona you may be able to get a Provisional Teaching Certificate. This special certificate, which is non-renewable, will allow teachers from other states to teach in Arizona for a year after moving there, after the year the teacher will have to take exams specific to teaching in Arizona to make sure they are up to date with all requirements of teachers in Arizona. It is during the year the teacher has the provisional certificate that the teacher can take courses in which they may be deficient in teaching in the new state. The only loophole to this is if someone has been teaching for 3 or more years in another state before moving to Arizona, this is because teaching for 3 years shows that the teacher should have enough knowledge so that if they don’t pass the exams in Arizona they still have ample knowledge about teaching.
