Sharjah-An Exciting Place to Work In

Sharjah, a sister city to Dubai and Ajman is around 170 kms away from the capital city, Abu Dhabi. Jobs in Sharjah are attracting thousands of expatriates who are looking forward to work in the Middle East and earn hefty amounts of money. It matches up to the global standards of Dubai in more than one ways with quiet a lot of entertainment and recreation options available.

Jobs in Middle East are the most lucrative ones for professionals all around the world. You only need to possess the right skill sets, the experience and will to work hard to make it to the Gulf. The emirate of Sharjah is an upcoming career destination that is famous for its unique combination of contemporary and classical. Those who take up jobs in Sharjah fall in love with the exotic atmosphere of the city as it is easy to get accustomed to its ways. It is good as a holiday place too as it is one of the most popular tourist hubs in the Gulf that offer good sightseeing and other visiting sites.

I. - The accommodation in Sharjah is much cheaper than in Dubai so much so that it is almost half when compared.
- Sharjah is famous for its shopping centers that feature a host of international brands still catering to all budgets. Along with the malls, it has various traditional markets that offer everything and anything required for day to day necessities.
- Being home to various sporting and leisure facilities, Sharjah has a good number of restaurants, cinemas, beaches, galleries, museums and parks. Despite its quiet environs, the city offers numerous options to spend a day or weekends out.
- Education and healthcare services in Sharjah are also quite decent with various government and private clinics and hospitals as well as good primary and higher education institutions.
-Domestic help both male and female are easily available in the city on part time as well as live in basis and their services may vary. Maids can be hired through agencies by paying the Government a yearly amount equal to the maid's annual salary in addition the costs of medical care and visa fees.

II. -A UAE driving license is necessary to drive in Sharjah even though traffic is a little notorious here with parking being a little problematic issue.

- Sharjah can be referred to as the strictest emirate of the UAE where:

(a) Mingling of unmarried men and women amounts to committing a crime with huge consequences that can even lead to jail and deportment,
(b) Conservative dress code for men and women is required and
(c) Also called ‘dry emirate', the sale, possession and consumption of alcohol is banned except at a few licensed bars.

Living and working in Sharjah definitely is enjoying innumerable luxuries and amenities as it is located few kilometers away from the activity hub, Dubai. Jobs in Sharjah pay well enough to let you save and spend on recreational activities and dining out. You would soon begin to enjoy Middle East cuisines and delicacies though there is a vast array of variety like American, Chinese, Turkish, Iranian, Indian and others available for expatriates.
