Secondly, never use a pin number that is valid for any other access on any other account. This may include that of an ATM pin, online banking password pin, etc. If your pin is scouted by a hacker via your phone, they may then have access to other accounts. As a large majority of people do use the same information for several accounts, this makes hackers attempt these bank and online hacking immediately after grabbing your telephone or voicemail pin.

Lastly, Caller ID spoofing is a great way to protect your personal information. By hiding or manipulating your phone number and account name you can makes calls knowing that your information is safe.
