This phone has a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and power LED flash which is a good feature for the camera to have, especially in dark environments. It can also record HD video in 720P which is an incredible feature on its own considering how expensive HD camcorders are. It can also read a range of audio and video file formats and play them back flawless without any screen lag.

Performance

The phone's processor (CPU) is clocked at 1 GHz. A high CPU speed would make the loading of applications faster and help to ensure a pleasant user experience. It is not dual core unlike some of the other competing Android phones though. When loading websites and downloading files from the internet, it is quite fast because by using the 3G application its speed can reach up to 14.4 mbps download speed and uploading speed is 5.76 mbps. It has good Bluetooth performance because you can connect it to a headset and also PBAP for phonebook access from the car kit.

Value for Money

Is the HTC Desire S actually good value for money though? After reading all these features and specifications, what would you be happy to pay for a new HTC Desire S?
