Commercial Carpet Extractors: A Better Way to Clean Your Carpets?

Carpet extractors work on a simple logic of extraction of soil from the carpet. A special cleaning solution is spared on the carpet fibers and a power brush is used to loosen the soil and finally a vacuum pick up tool removes dirty solution in the recovery tank. As carpet shampooers, extractors also come in various shapes and sizes to give the user options to choose according the need. The extractors are light and portable, exceptionally easy to use and transport. These extractors can clean twelve, fifteen or eighteen inch cleaning widths and give excellent performance at affordable prices. Above all they have different accessories also for different purposes.

A special type of the extractors is self propelled extractor. This is a compact, self propelled, cord electric automatic carpet extractor. It is equipped with a special Touch and Go feature to select the speed for cleaning in both forward and reverse. Its upfront steering caster gives excellent maneuverability and the low profile allows optimum operator visibility. It has a high storage capacity of both the cleaning solution and the recovery. Its cleaning solution tank is around twenty five gallons and recovery tank is of fifteen gallons. It can clean eighteen inch broad space in one go.

Another different type of extractor is there that is designed to save labor. It is battery powered, walk behind automatic carpet extractor. It is many times faster than the conventional hose and wand extractors which clean in one pass at a steady, self propelled pace. Being faster is its advantage over others so it saves labor and time. Being battery powered it is quite, fume free and has no cords to drag. As it is cordless it is handy and really easy to use. It also has shampooing mode for dry foam shampoo.

Some extractors use power liquidator for extraction. They have a powerful jet spray rinse with motorized brush agitation and vacuum recovery system. It has different accessories to make the extraction wet or dry and if just vacuuming of the carpet is needed it can go fine on that too. They have different tank sizes like eight or sixteen gallon capacity according to the different needs. All the extractors don't just spray the cleaning liquid for extraction but some use air for this purpose. These blowers blow two thousand cubic feet of air per minute, reducing the drying time after cleaning the carpets or hard floors. It also works for drying the wet basements, fresh paint, and concrete sealer or for ventilating heat, fumes and smoke etc. It has a quite running, powerful two speed motor, and comes with rugged one piece polyethylene housing. It has excellent results in cleaning.

Make sure to consult with your local carpet cleaning company before attempting to try cleaning your carpets on your own. In most cases, having it done professionally can be a lot cheaper then renting the stuff to do it on your own. And, in all cases, you carpets will be restored back to new.
