Nacre : Most of the people are aware of its nacre thickness while buying a pearl. Nacre is the coating produced by a pearl oyster, which covers the pearl's nucleus. Experts always prefer thicker pearls with thickness, which exceeds 0.4mm.

Luster : The amount of light reflected from the surface of a pearl is known as its luster. Most people prefer pearls with high luster with a smooth surface.

Surface : Always choose a pearl, which has smooth surface and mirror-finish, as these qualities are considered more valuable.

Color : Color depends totally on the choice of the person buying it. It is always advisable to buy a pearl, which matches the color of your skin and your dress.

Shape : Always select round pearl with smooth surface as it is considered valuable. However, they are quite expensive.

Matching : Identical pearls are very hard to find as they have high market demands. Necklace made from identical pearls are quite expensive and are not easy to find. Always search for the matching one if you want to buy perfect pearl necklaces .
