Prada, Louis Vuitton and Chanel could have dominated the fashion world; brand aficionados and the royal blood, on the other hand, have luxurious limousines as their ultimate status symbol.

Limousines carry the insignia of eminence and power. The vehicle's heavily tinted windows and flamboyant amenities often seat the most revered figures in society such as politicians, celebrities and royalties. What self-respecting rock star would arrive in a red carpet event in anything less than the best limo service from Seattle Wa? How can the head of state expect to demonstrate his power if he doesn't come to a state meeting in a long Seattle towncar service?

In most cases, an expensive limousine service in Seattle Wa or Seattle towncar services gives anybody seated in it the prestige and power. People always have the urge to peek through the windows of an ostentatious limousine to find out who's in it so if you're boarding one, you are very important.

The limousine started rising to the top of the car hierarchy in the 1920s when the first "stretch limousine" was produced by Arkansas-based coach company Armbruster. Big bands and orchestras started using these oversized vehicles as their main means of transportation when they toured the United States, thus establishing the first "link" between the music industry and the vehicle (now a favorite of rock and pop stars alike).

Soon, Hollywood discovered that these roomy limousines are not only good in transporting film equipment and props but also serve as a comfortable and elegant vehicle for the VIPs. By the 1940s, the limousine became Tinseltown's "it" car.

As it gained popularity among the men and women of Hollywood, the limousine eventually became the choice of the world's political leaders, particularly American presidents. Harry Truman, Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight D. Eisenhower and a lot others rode 21.5 feet long Cadillac convertibles. During the 60s and the 70s, limousines gained the reputation as the favorite vehicle of the rich and powerful.

Although limousines have transformed over the course of the century, these vehicles continue to bear the emblem of wealth and popularity. Its roomy interior offers passengers ultimate comfort while traveling - a great demand among its notable passengers. In the early years of the automobile industry, most cars were open thus exposing the driver and passengers. The limousine's covering provided passengers not only with added security but privacy as well. Moreover, limousines and airport transportation in Seattle Wa promote proper etiquette unlike regular cars. Vehicle etiquette dictates that a limousine can only be driven by a professional chauffeur and never by the owner, whose main and only task is to enjoy the ride and bask in the car's luxury and opulence.
