Library programs; Treasure Hunters' Roadshow; Green Drinks

The Allegan Public Library, 331 Hubbard St., Allegan, is hosting two "Preschool Storytime" programs — one designed for 2- and 3-year-olds, accompanied by caregivers, and one designed for 4-year-olds through those entering kindergarten. No registration is required. Also, the teen program "Morph Your T-shirt" is planned. Participants should bring a light-colored T-shirt. Morphing supplies are being provided. Registration is required. 673-4625. 10 to 10:30 a.m. and 11 to 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, story times; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, T-shirt program.

The Kalamazoo Public Library's Oshtemo branch, 7265 W. Main St., Oshtemo, is hosting the teen program "ReCraft: Candy Boxes." Participants may recycle traditional candy boxes into works of art, journals, pins, purses, picture frames, etc. All materials are provided. Registration is required. 553-7980. 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, recraft program.

Show in Kalamazoo

The International Collectors Association is sponsoring the Treasure Hunters' Roadshow at Best Western, 3640 E. Cork St. The show invites the public to bring in antiques, collectibles, coins, gold, etc. to be assessed. In some cases, offers will be made on the merchandise by onsite collectors. Admission is free. 381-1900 or (217) 636-7900 9am to 6pm. Tuesday through Friday.

Meeting in Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo Green Drinks is meeting at Shakespeare's Pub, 241 E. Kalamazoo Ave. The presentation "Building Green Homes in Kalamazoo," by Tom Phillips, of Kalamazoo Habitat for Humanity, is planned. The rest of the time is to be spent networking and discussing local sustainability issues. 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
