The marketing concept has simply evolved with passage of time. The technology's evolution has gifted mankind with great variety of tools for marketing. Brand marketing isn't actually a hassle for any organization. It is by means of mobile marketing via mobile phones that most of the business organizations are promoting their brands.

Mobiles are having an important place in the advertising world. They are not only used as a device for communication but also as an advertising medium. Mobile phones are in fact the only device of advertisement where seller can directly approach the buyer. The facility of direct interaction with targeted audience is available only through mobile marketing.

Marketing through mobile phones can be done in 2 ways. Text marketing and SMS marketing are two popular most ways of marketing through mobile phones. The process of mobile marketing via text messaging and SMS are quite simple. The seller can give a detailed description of his service or product and send it to the targeted customers. There is great scope provided to the customer to get in touch with seller within short time span. The mobile consumer will surely read the message received in the Inbox of the mobile.

Messages are not left unread most of the time. It has a very quick effect on reader's mind. After reading the message if the brand or the product interests him/her, then the individual will surely revert back to seller either physically or virtually. According to many people, repetitive messages have a tendency of irritating mobile consumer. These results in deleting of the message in the mobile even before reading or opening it. This is however not untrue. This occurs when the target customers is actually a group of people unknown.

For instance, if a business organization has an intention of selling electronic gadget, then the best target audience in this case is men. Similarly, when a business organization tries promoting beauty products brand, female customers in this case are the perfect choice. The advertiser thus needs to realize the product or service's nature before identifying the client base. After the identification stage gets over, seller has the opportunity of messaging the target audience regarding the product. Generally the mobile marketing messages have contact details of seller at the message's end for customers to contact the seller when possible.

Mobile marketing has become one of the popular most tools of marketing a brand. It is a fruitful technique, which earns revenues for business organizations. It has been seen that after the companies made use of this technique of marketing, their revenues simply doubled short span of time. Research and surveys have proved that mobile marketing is the best way of brand promotion.
