Getting Over the Hurdles in article marketing!

Article marketing has many benefits and is one of the best methods of getting backlinks and some direct traffic to your website. It is also an effective way to market your newsletter and generate new subscribers.

But, for some people writing articles is a chore, and it is time consuming. The time involved in writing articles does return value many times over.

If writing articles is like pulling teeth for you, there are some ways to refine the process with a minimum of effort on your part.

This is best accomplished in one of two ways:

1. You can seek out a ghostwriter to write articles for you on the topics you outline, and with the keywords you designate. This takes a little extra work in the beginning and you may have to try several people before you get the results you want.

In the case of a ghostwritten article, once you have settled on someone who produces what you want, the articles may only need a final check with minimal editing.

When it comes to PLR articles, you want to put in a little extra effort. In most cases these articles do have somewhat limited distribution, but the fact is, they are not one of a kind. For best results you should at least lightly re-write the articles.

You can do this by changing the arrangement in how paragraphs are presented, alter some of the phrases, and even add or delete some of the content. This still requires a bit of work, but PLR articles can help those who experience writers block get jump started.

For those who think this is a lot of work, consider the benefits articles can provide. One article can be used in many ways. If you have a newsletter, you can use these in your newsletters, and release them later to article banks for wide distribution to bring more backlinks and authority to your website.

When doing this, it is good to publish the article in your newsletter, then let a period of time lapse before they are distributed far and wide. You want your subscribers to feel special and therefore it is best that they get the article while it is still fresh and not widely seen.

At some point in time, you can gather a number of articles into a PDF and offer it as a free report and include your affiliate links along with a link back to your website. This report, if it is good, could become a valuable viral resource bringing your site traffic, and also providing an extra source of revenue.
