What is one thing that tap water and homebred technologies can give, which gasoline cannot afford? That is less pollution and better efficiency packed in one element. See, the only problem here is that not many people know if these sources of energy are reliable in their performance, primarily because they are new and not many have tried it as yet.
The use of water as an alternative fuel has given rise to curiosity amongst many people. Completely unaware on how it will work and how efficient it will be, people though tend to stay away from it, as they believe it is an unknown commodity. Let me try to throw some light on the use of water as an alternative fuel.
A misconception pertaining to the use of water is its adherence to the Law of Thermodynamics. People believe that water does not follow the Law of Thermodynamics. And while I must say, that the reasons given by people in their assessment seems valid, it must also be said that water can be no worse than gasoline and other fuels. Why? These fuels also have their own set of losses as compared to water, and just that we could not see these losses with our eyes, does not mean they are clean. In fact if anything, water provides a cleaner and a more efficient fuel alternative.
Every time a new technology comes through you always have those early-birds who would jump on to it and try to make the best use of it. Such people, you would note would not only use the technology, but would also back it up with a credible source just in case the world asks them why they used that technology. Well appreciated, but on the other side of the spectrum, you also have people who are always hell bent on asking questions on the technology without using it even one bit. Whatever be the viewpoints from both sides, I have thoroughly enjoyed my stint in the use of water as an alternate fuel, and would continue to use it.
Start by building your own HHO system. Think of it – What would you lose anyways in doing so? Pretty less, as most HHO generators I know of come with a 60-day guarantee, so you could in fact use them for trial purposes. Trust me; you may be skeptical on the use of these alternative fuels at the start. It is quite natural, but you would get comfortable with it as and when you spend some time.
You can practically build your own HHO generator. There are many websites that offer free data on how to create a HHO generator, and there are also many that will sell you the same at a small fee. If you are not very technically inclined you can still avail of this by purchasing online through a web store that offers such services. Before you proceed though, make sure that you check with your car parameters and mechanical feasibility.
