High Voltage Evaluation Board from GAO

Toronto, Canada - GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) offers its DSP based high voltage evaluation board (MCK2812), which is designed for high performance DMC systems. It is commonly used in applications requiring digital motor or machine control, in packing mechanisms, or where UPS (uninterruptible power supply), VFC (variable frequency control) and electrical control are needed.
GAO's fast and reliable high voltage evaluation board system is a combination of a DSP component EVM2812 Board, a high voltage driver component, and an interface component IB2812. It directly connects with one or two DC servomotors, AC asynchronous motors, AC permanent-magnet synchronous servomotors and stepper motors to form a digital servo motion control system.
This evaluation board includes 8 channels of isolated output, a 32-bit fixed-point flash DSP, a standard RS232 port, and a CAN communication interface. It ships with high speed optocoupler for electrical isolation and 4 independent IPM power supplies to prevent damage from bootstrap recharge. The board is equipped with a Hall Effect current sensor to insure the accuracy and isolation of current sampling, feedback interface for current velocity position feedback loop. This evaluation board utilizes a non-inductive absorbing capacitor to eliminate surges caused by DV/DT efficiently protecting IPM.
