Six Significant Steps To Choosing The Perfect Promotional Conference Bags

When it comes to promotional conference bags, there are literally hundreds of choices to make. However, even if you’ve narrowed it down to two or three bags, you still may be at a loss as to which one you’d like to order. Follow these six steps in order to choose the promotional conference bag that is right for you!

Step #1: Set your budget.
If you choose a promotional conference bag that is too expensive, you may find yourself scrambling to pinch pennies elsewhere—and that’s never a good thing! Instead, set your price range before you ever start looking. Stick to your guns, and don’t reevaluate simply because you want the extra pocket or the leather material. Step #2: Consider who will be carrying the bags.
Some bags look more feminine, while others look more masculine. Size might also be an issue, especially for employees who have back problems. If possible, also get the input of the people who will be using the bags most.

Step #3: Make a list of the things you must have in a bag.
You can cut out groups of bags if you simply list the features that is must have, without compromise. For example, if your employees tend to carry laptops, you might list that it must have a padded pocket and be large enough for the largest computer. After you’ve made a list of the things your must have, make a list of the characteristics you most want. Are pockets to hold pens important to you? Would you like a lock? Should the bag have wheels? As you make your list, you can narrow down the choices bag eliminating the ones that fit your criteria least.

Step #4: Think about your logo design.
The main characteristic of a promotional conference bag is that it should promote your business. Think about how you’d like your logo to look on the bag. Will it match with certain colors and not match with other colors? Where on the bag will your information be located?

Step #5: Consider how you’re branding your company with the bag.

If you want to purchase the least expensive items, that’s your prerogative, but remember that this may have an adverse effect. Would you put your name on cheap products? Probably not. Remember, a sturdy bag made in more professional colors and with a more professional material will usually go over better.

Step #6: Give people a choice.
At the end of the day, you may still not know if you should order the small black bag or the large blue bag. Why not order them both! Have a stash of company bags in a variety of designs so that your employees and you can pick and choose which ones to carry for the occasion.
