All required data such as Media files, URLs, Player instructions and scheduling are sent from Tycoon Server to the

designated shared LAN folder or FTP Server, depending on the communication method selected. Meanwhile, each Tycoon Player connects independently at a preset connection interval and retrieves

it's playback data. This is a background process that does not affect the currently played media, enabling network

operators to update their displays at any time. Any web pages or streaming media URLs are sent to the Player as part of their

update and then each Player connects to these data sources individually. This is the only time a Navori Tycoon network operator will require permanent IP

at the Player end otherwise you can upload a year's worth of media and scheduling and disconnect the Player from your

LAN or the internet.

Another benefit is enhanced security. Since Tycoon Players operate independently and initiate communication with their

respective data source, it is far less likely that someone could hijack the Player and inject undesired media in the

Player's play lists. In fact, any altered media file will simply be rejected by the Player. The file will be skipped

leaving the remaining content in the play list intact. This preserves the integrity of the Players over time.
