Biltmore Who's Who Selects Debra S. Barcena as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Debra Barcena has been an educator for over 25 years and has been teaching children with dyslexia for four years now. She travels from campus to campus and holds therapy classes for dyslexic students of all ages. Her goal is to keep abreast of current trends and methodology of education. She aspires to leave a legacy of being an informed and caring individual who worked on behalf of students, having attended to their needs, supported their dreams and given them the tools to reach their dreams.

Ms. Barcena holds a Master of Science in Educational Administration, acquired from Texas A&M University in 2000, and has a B.S. in Education from SW Texas University in 1981. She belongs to the Academic Language Therapy Association, has a Certified Language Therapist License, and is recipient of Character Excellence and Achievement Award Career Education.

Debra Barcena is currently using her skills to teach first graders to read and has planned an upcoming trip to Africa to help the children and teachers set up classes.

On a more personal level, Debra Barcena enjoys gardening, cooking, home decorating and walking.
