Is the network marketing business stable? Far too many multi level marketing businesses don’t survive past their first year. I'm sure you don't want to invest into a company which fails before even getting off the ground. I'm not talking about not doing business with a network marketing business for the sole reason of not being around very long. Study up on the principles in the company and their backgrounds. Make sure they have previous experience and success in building companies such as this and if so do they have experience in building a network marketing company?

What kind of value does the product you will be selling have? While success of a network marketing business relies on the recruiting of other consultants, the overall success of the business relies on the product itself. Make sure you are selling a consumable product which can be purchased again and again and that it is competitively priced, as well. Selling a product which is expensive, will cause the consumer to buy from somewhere else; instead sell something with value and make sure the consumer knows that value. Let them know there is a benefit from using it. Never get involved with a fad product.

Is the person who introduced you to network marketing committed to your success? This question to ask is too often overlooked. If you are new to network marketing and have no sales experience, you want someone in your corner backing you up with encouragement and advice. Don't join up with someone who is simply a recruiter and then sends you off to sink or swim on your own. Find someone who is a mentor and can coach, motivate and train you.

Will you have fun with multi level marketing? Any job or activity you spend time on should be something you enjoy doing or you simply won't put forth the necessary drive and dedication necessary to be successful.

These questions do not guarantee success in a network marketing business. Only your hard word can guarantee that. Even the perfect salesperson still has to put forth the effort to make it work, but unlike your nine to five job, with network marketing, your rewards will grow exponentially.
