USA reads...Home Equity falls below the 50 sapping homeowners "Wealth".
Who is to blame? Ms Block reported homes have been falling for the last 9 months. WOW! Hard to believe we had four good years before Greed gripped us ALL! Let face the reality of what we did to ourselves and to the big bosses who pushed us into trouble. I blame alot on the media...I can remember news articles about the pricing of the market in San Diego county and how fast home prices were rising to new levels. Pushing the average JOE out of the market.
Ads like 100--buy buy buy before the sky falls. If you don't act now you won't have the dream of homeownership. On went the tale of Stated income stated asset---You make how much? NO Problem or NO problema'--Get that home today!!! Sure we can close in 14 days. Boy, the good ole' days.
Certainly we all know the risks associated with mortgage loans but the big boys were telling Wall Street...everything is A-OK in the trenches. Just keep makin those loans. 3 million homeowners are late with their mortgage payments.
It's Ok it happens every year come about January when Christmas is more important then making the roof-over-my head payment is not as important as making my min. Credit Card payment.
When applying for a home loan the first thing the lenders look for is mortgage lates. If they did it to Saxon or Citibank or Wells Fargo or BofA..They will do it to me...


So, what is my point, it is this...the FEDs saw this coming in 2005 and yet decided to stick their heads in the sand and look to Iraq to take our eyes off the mark. This is no different with S&L in the late 80's or the Enron
(energy) they are only different in scope and sectors.
Are you really sure Kenneth Lay died? Do you think after taking 140 Million in stock sales and a 50+ million salary Mr CW will get away? As his ship at CW is sinking HIS wallet is getting bigger!!!!!


Our memories are so short as to the past. Do you not think we knew of the pending OIL Crisis/energy prices affect all of the sectors...I buy the same thing at Wal-Mart and I felt a whopping 33. They tell us 18 raise in Salary? All you have to do is Ask! yeah right you say.
If Gas goes to 6 dollars a gallon will you think twice before you get behind the wheel of your car? You will if you are on hourly wage.
I was watching C-Span and they had a Chevron head before the committee asking what is going on. The Senator stated...the way I see it, before to long it will take three incomes in America to make it...one to pay the mortgage, the second job for staples and the third to pay for the gas to get to the other two jobs. I don't know about your thinking, but please remember this is America and we will find a solution. Robert Kiyosaki said in his book he co-authored with Donald Trump...if you want to make alot of money in America find solutions to problems.
