Information about effective network marketing is being made available at on-line resources like Renegade Network Marketer and others. Some of these resources charge a fee and some offer varying degrees of free information. Here I will offer a secret to marketing effectively that I have found.

Give-and-take is a potent thing. And if done correctly, it can be of real value in your business. If you're ‘selling' your products or services, you're going about your business incorrectly. Let me clarify... If you are spending all your time ‘selling' instead of truly being helpful to others, your business will suffer. If you share actual helpful information with people you will not only get prospects or clients, you will gain loyal followers. And when you have loyal followers, it means they see you as an expert and when it comes time to purchase something they'll be the first to do so. As well, your followers will then recommend your products and services to others.

There is great power in giving prior to asking for the sale. By creating valuable information and delivering it to others, all the time expecting nothing in return, you will find that you get back much more in return. When we go through life asking "what will someone do for me", you may do all right. But if we ask "what will I do for someone else", then you'll do a lot better.

Successful marketing isn't about figuring out how you can get people to give you money. It's about educating yourself on how to create and deliver something of value to those who are looking for it and will be glad about it.

You can test this out for yourself by giving away some valuable content with no expectations and you'll be surprised at the results. Understanding this can change your level of success.

Good marketing isn't about trying to persuade people to buy what you're selling, but rather selling what people are buying. That statement may sound confusing and like I'm saying the same thing, but it's not. Why waste time and energy trying to persuade people to purchase your stuff when you could merely provide what they want in the first place? Network marketing becomes easier when you're providing what people badly need. Do you think the person marketing water struggles in the Sahara? Of course not.

However, it's not sufficient to find a group of people who have a particular need. Marketers need to locate people who have to have a solution right now, no matter what. If you can understand and appreciate the deep subconscious needs pushing your prospects forward and provide them with something of value to help them with their needs, then you can you position yourself as a voice of authority. This creates loyal followers, which in turn, fosters paying customers.
