Your Keys to Online Success

If you've been online for any length of time, I'm sure you've seen the "SYSTEM." What am I talking about? The System is that so-called magical formula for instant online wealth and prosperity.

It is the thing that many people spend hundreds if not thousands of hours searching for and thousands of dollars trying to create. A foolproof paint by the numbers "get-me-cash by tomorrow" system. I've got a newsflash for you: there is no such thing in existence!

There are many different spins on this. Some people claim that the best thing is an auto responder with all the messages filled in for you.

Other say it is a website with the latest whizz-bang graphics and motion. Still others claim it is the wording ON the website and that graphics although designed to capture attention, are secondary.

There are even web sites out there that claim if you just drive traffic, you will not have to worry about selling as a team of pros will do it for you.

Naturally, all these things can go into creating a successful plan. However there are certain things that a person absolutely MUST have in order to succeed and these things must come before any thought of auto responders, websites, graphics, copy or even product or plan.

First, before you jump into the online money making world, discover and figure out your WHY. WHY are you ultimately doing this? Your why must be big. Big enough to withstand sick days, people laughing at you, and the inevitable bumps that come along the road to success.

Once you have settled on your why, post it everywhere you can think of. I personally have mind up on the bathroom mirror, so I see it everyday and to remind me that obstacles are simply challenges in disguise.

Next, you need absolute belief that what your doing is worth your time and effort. This does in fact tie into your why. You must believe beyond any shadow of doubt that this is possible. Sometimes, this may be difficult but go to any online marketing forum and you will soon see that it is possible.

Finally, you need to be willing to make a "leap of faith." Now, what do I mean by this? simply put, there are times when you get ready and then get ready to get ready and by the time you're ready, the day is done. The Nike brand exhortation to "Just Do It" really applies here. After all, if you don't just jump in pick something and do it how will you learn? How will you find out what works and what doesn't? No one is ever truly "ready" to start a business, you just start one. Think of it as the ultimate in on the job training.

If you have these keys to online success: your why, strong belief and willingness to leap and then look, you are already halfway there. Remember, the biggest challenge in starting a home based business is not the technology. It is not the copy or the graphics. It is the one posed by your own mind.
