The Honest Persuasion Fears No QuestionSubmitted by michaelbahian Mon, 12 Oct 2009
"Son, please don't tell somebody that I'm here." I can always remember my father told me like this when I was a little boy. Sometimes, parents are already teaching their children bad traits during their childhood days. The truth is children usually remembered the negative traits they learned rather than the good ones. You know, honesty is the top traits you must develop especially for your persuasion skills.
In persuasion, you will never take for granted on not being honest. Many persuaders have their instant success in business and selling. Yes very instant, but if it is fueled with dishonesty, it is like throwing a stone above, as it goes high it slows down and observe how fast it is when it falls down than going up. That's how dishonesty does in your business, marketing and selling. Is your persuasion honesty is from the absence of temptation or from the resistance of temptation? This time I will tell you the two theories of honest persuasion that you must learn to apply it to your persuasion techniques. The first theory is the "WILL" hypothesis of persuasion. In this theory, the honesty comes from the active resistance of temptation. This means that your persuasive actions are being compromised by the temptation whether you're going to tell the whole truth or not, seeing the reward you're going to get. In the second theory "GRACE" hypothesis of persuasion, your honest persuasion is not linked to the controlled cognitive process but it is linked to research of automatic processes in determining behavior. This means that your persuasion is driven by the right process of winning the affluent. Truth fears no question. This is true, your persuasion is also driven how much honesty you put in it.
