USA Cleaning Up It's Image at Airports

Executive Summary - Reports tell us there are now posters in US airports inviting people to ask questions. The posters explain that everything is being done for your safety and protection and that they are trying to be courteous. Why the sudden image upgrade?

Image Upgrade - The TSA has gotten caught in a number of bad incidents coming to light in the media. TSA guards are disposable assets easily replaced. There is no shortage of applicants for these jobs. Training is fast and easy. At first they let the TSA run amuck treating the people as dogs, now they are regrouping and trying a more polite attitude. Remember the naked body scanners are coming to an airport near you soon. These naked body scanners will not work. We had the shoe bomber who caused no damage. We had the underwear bomber, also no damage.

Next we will have the body cavity bomber. They will insert bombs or bomb materials in their vagina or rectum. The body scanner will not detect this. This will lead to full body cavity searches so they are trying to soften the blow emotionally. The hey you strip and grab your ankles will be more like ok we need you to go behind this screen and disrobe putting on this disposable gown. Two people will be in room with the traveler. Then they will conduct the rubber glove cavity search being completely polite and courteous while they humiliate the citizens and remove any shred of dignity they have left.

They will ultimately get the idea that the government can violate any right including their privacy to their own body cavities. Bearing this in mind the naked airport scanners are a fairly stupid and expensive idea.
