Some of these are writing comments and posts on forums and blogs related to the product you are promoting. Others include creating profiles on myspace, squidoo, facebook, hi5 and a host of other social bookmarking sites. Even better would be to create a short video using camtasia, reviewing the products you are referring or your website where you promote them and then posting on youtube.

However by working smart and intelligent I am referring to arming yourself with knowledge in all of these strategies, tips and traffic sources so you do not waste time and money chasing dreams. Bottom line is learn to do affiliate marketing the smart way, use automated software and study and apply the techniques of the experts.

These will save you time, money and effort spent doing unnecessary work or targeting the wrong market. Never underestimate your gut feeling and always choose to promote products and services you are passionate about.
