Business cards are a good form of advertising and marketing. Even though they are small, a single business card can urge a hundred people to come and try out a certain company’s services and/or products. For this reason, a proper printing process or machine should be used.

Now, talking about digital printers, although this type of printer is new in the industry, it has already accumulated quite a reputation because of the advantages it offers. These machines can print faster than offset printers can.

Also, digital printers are now known for printing highly accurate and detailed business cards. Full color reproduction is also a cinch to these printing machines. Most of these digital printing machines are capable of printing hundreds of business card copies in just an hour. Thus, with these machines, printing companies can now offer faster turnaround times. Digital printers are also more user-friendly. You don’t need to study operating them for two years or something.

But no matter how great digital printers may seem, they also have their drawbacks. First, digital printers are not suitable for printing large amount of business cards. They also have higher maintenance cost than offset printers.

To sum it all up, the two kinds of printing machines can be ideal depending on the needs of a person. With the said advantages and disadvantages, it will be up to a consumer to weigh or choose which can be more suitable for his needs.
