Why I like TelecomCrossingSubmitted by employmentcrossing Fri, 3 Oct 2008
It is a terrible cycle. You find the classified page; thumb around to the employment section, and cross your fingers that you will find a telecom job posting. Alas, there is one! But, as soon as you pick up the phone, you find that this is not a job as much as a "business opportunity" in which you have to fork over your hard earned money just to get started. Finding a telecom is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, or so I thought until I came across the TelecomCrossing website. This site has such an easy search process. As of today, there are over 2,000 telecommuting jobs, with over 250 jobs posted this week! The days of combing the classifieds or other mega-job searches are over!
There are many different types of telecommunication jobs on this site and with new jobs added daily, you will feel like you have hit the mother load! You can search telecom jobs easily. You can enter little information and still bring up the types of telecom jobs that you are looking for. My search for translation brought up 51 hits alone. I was impressed by the amount of detail in the job descriptions…you can tell right away if the telecom job listing that you clicked on is what you are looking for, rather than filling out an application and sending your resume on blind faith. Some listings even show salary, which almost never happens on any of the other sites I have been on. I love the hot list feature on Telecomcrossing. You can flag positions that really spark your interest, and compare listings before applying and decide how employers measure up against each other. Telecomcrossing even has an outbox that helps you track messages which ones you have responded to and those that you have sent applications. This is such a handy tool when you are in a mad job search and filling out more applications then you can keep track of! Job posting is free on this website, so you get more listings because employers aren't hesitant about posting fees. What's more, the Telecomcrossing administration combs the web for me and posts telecom jobs listed on other sites. This saves me so much time, and instead of probing through other forums and boards I can be applying and making contacts while they do the dirty work. They post all telecom jobs from all fortune 500 companies. They post legal job opportunities! The small details on Telecomcrossing really make it worthwhile. They have a map that allows you to see state by state how many telecom jobs are available in your state. They post a featured listing daily. Overall, I am extremely impressed and so happy that I found this website! I know that I am not missing any telecom job posted elsewhere on the web because the staff does such a great job at combing the web. If you are looking for a telecom job, then this site is your knight in shining armor!
