How To Level Your Fishing Super Fast With This WoW Fishing Guide

So you want to know how you can level fishing quickly without boring yourself to death? Well, I'll tell you.

Fishing, believe it or not, is a very handy profession to have under your belt. And you guys have it so easy now - when I was levelling it, you couldn't fish just anywhere like you can now! So first things first, you're going to need a fishing pole. There are some pretty sweet poles out there, but a basic one will do to start off with. You can purchase them from your fishing trainer. Now, you can fish absolutely anywhere you like - but if you're fishing in a high level area (say, Northrend) when you've only just started, you're going to be catching junk, so keep that in mind.

Second, always pair fishing with cooking. The two complement each other and you can level both of them extremely quickly if you do this. A campfire no longer needs any reagents to make, so set one up next to you when you fish and cook whatever you catch! As you progress through the levels, you'll start to be able to cook some pretty cool stuff with your fish, and you'll be able to sell it for quite a bit!

There are many items in WoW that will increase your fishing skill temporarily - some fishing poles do this, but so does Captain Rumsey's Lager, Fishing Hooks, Glowworms, Baubles...the list goes on. You can purchase some of these from your fishing trainer, and I strongly recommend you do so to reduce the amount of junk you catch when you fish in the higher areas.

The fishing dailies in Dalaran are a must - you get Cooking Awards from them and with those you can purchase other, more lucrative recipes that are very useful for raid and individual buffs. The dailies are easy and quick, and you can get fishing poles, gems, hats and other rewards from doing them too! Fish feasts in particular are always wanted in any raid, sell for a LOT on the auction house, so fishing is not a skill anyone should pass over.
