Monster Hunter Freedom 2 PSP Slim and Light OverviewSubmitted by samualennis7319 Fri, 14 Dec 2007
A new title comes out for the Sony PlayStation Portable ? Monster Hunter Freedom. This game is perfect for anyone who want to engage in butt-kicking, monster hunting adventure. Because it is an RPG, you can expect that this is going to be a really exciting experience for the gamer, particularly with the amount of morbidity and thrill to go along with it. And as the name implies, your character is a monster hunter. You find yourself placed in a world of primitive peasants. Here, your main objective is to take down all of the home town's fauna with tremendous fierceness.
You will need to settle a few things first before you get started on your adventure in Monster Hunter Freedom. From there, you can choose the exact details of your character's physical appearance from the face, skin color, hair type, etc. Then, as an RPG, you will take your character around the village and scoping out the scene of this small village. While doing this, you should be able to find shops there and you can check them out as well. And while you're at it, go through some of the shops and you should discover a few missions to venture in and finish. Once you're through checking out the shops, you can then proceed to the guild which is the best place for real action. There you will meet village elders who will take you through tutorial missions ? There will also be mysterious tutorial missions given to you by the elders, but don't be misled. What seems to be tutorial missions can be, and are in fact, real missions! The first few missions that you'll be engaged in, you might find outrageously simple and boring. Well, all you need is patience here as all the encounters you will make and the skills that you will acquire from this stage will prove to be quite helpful in the long run. At last, you are in for some real action! Aside from that, there'll also be some scary-looking monster that's on the loose in the area and you need to finish him up. The camera angle for this game definitely makes it doubly hard to maintain a close sight range on those monsters. And if that is not frustrating enough, you'd even have to deal with the controls while in combat with these monsters. You will have to make the most of your quickness to help remedy problems such as this. To begin with, you'd have access to four kinds of weapons: a crossbow, a sword, a hammer and a lance. Eventually, as you move up higher through your missions, you'll be able to use better weapons and your combat skills will also have been improved greatly. Forget about the game controls and camera, Monster Hunter Freedom on the PSP is an overall exciting game fit for anyone looking to go head-to-head with some crazy monsters! About the Author
