How to Save with Instant Rebates on Thermal Barcode Printers

Submitted by edmondshi

Instant Rebates are now available when purchasing a thermal barcode label printer while trading in your existing barcode printer. Often, the barcode printer that can be traded-in does not have to be from the same manufacturer, but can be a competitive manufacturer's barcode label printer. For instance, you can get an instant rebate when purchasing an Intermec barcode printer while trading in a Zebra label printer.

Zebra thermal labels printers are one example of barcode label printers that can be traded-in. The printers where rebates are available range from their mid-range industrial barcode printers like the Zebra 105SL thermal barcode printer to their high-end industrial label printers such as the Zebra 140Xi4 label printer, as well as their mobile printers, including the Zebra Ruggedized RW420 portable receipt printer. Barcode printers that can be traded in include over 100 printers, such as the Zebra 110XiIIIplus label printer as well as competitive thermal barcode printers like the Datamax I-4208 barcode printer and the Intermec 3400 label printer. Rebates for these barcode printers range from $75.00 to $500.00

Similarly, Intermec has announced their barcode label printer trade-in program which provides you with a trade-in incentive when purchasing an Intermec label printer, Intermec receipt printer or Intermec mobile printer. For example, when you purchase an Intermec label printer, such as the Intermec PX4i barcode printer, you can get a $300 trade-in credit. Additionally, if you add Intermec media or extra warranty to your thermal label printer purchase, you can get added trade-in credits of up to $150 for a total rebate of $450 when purchasing a new barcode label printer. Similar to the Zebra Thermal Label Printer trade-in program, you do not have to trade-in an Intermec barcode printer, but you can trade-in a competitor's label printer as well. For instance, you can purchase an Intermec PX6i thermal barcode printer while trading-in a Zebra 170XiIII label printer or a Datamax W-6208 thermal label printer.

Some VARs, like Mobile ID Solutions offer additional incentives on top of the manufacturer's incentives when trading in a barcode printer. For example, AutoIDsavings.com includes extra bonuses of up to $250 per barcode printer when trading in three or more direct thermal label printers (or thermal transfer label printers) while purchasing a qualify Intermec label printer. By taking advantage of these barcode label trade-in programs from the manufacturer and VAR, you can save as much as $600 per printer.
